Appointment until the May election
Information on the appointment process:
The Hopedale School Committee currently has a vacant seat that will be filled through the election process; however, until then, the position will be filled by appointment. The appointed individual will serve in this role until the annual town election in May 2027.
Hopedale residents who are registered voters and interested in being considered for this temporary appointment are invited to complete a Talent Bank form.
Please submit the Talent Bank form via email to Lisa M. Pedroli, Town Clerk, at lpedroli@hopedale-ma.gov. A blank Talent Bank form is attached below. The deadline for submission is Thursday, September 3, 2026, by noon.
Interested residents who submit a Talent Bank form must also attend the joint Select Board and School Committee meeting on September 8, 2026, at 6 pm and be prepared to speak to the School Committee and Select Board, which will jointly make the appointment decision. This joint meeting will be held in the Media Center at Hopedale Jr-Sr High School, 25 Adin Street, Hopedale, MA.
