Good Afternoon Hopedale Jr./Sr. High School Parents and Guardians!

We hope all of our students and families enjoyed summer break and we are looking forward to the start of a new school year!!

We wanted to take this opportunity to send out a reminder to students regarding bike safety and also to draw your attention to a new procedure we are asking our students to abide by on school property.

- With the help of School Resource Officer (SRO) Mahan, we will be reminding our students of the importance wearing helmets and obeying all traffic safety laws as it applies to bicycle and e-bike riding.

- When students ride to school on skateboards, scooters, bicycles, e-bikes, etc. we will be requiring them to get off before entering the school property and walk these items down to the bicycle racks and lock them there. Students should not be riding on school property.

At the start of school, Principal Atherton, SRO Mahan, and I will be meeting with each grade individually welcoming them back to school and reviewing a number of items including school safety procedures.

Thank you for your continued support and please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
